About the Team

• Lead strategy development for core functionality within the People Data Hub; you’ll take a broad view of both external, market-leading data, analytics, and BI platforms and Capital One’s enterprise HR priorities to shape product strategy and a prioritized roadmap
• Continue to raise the bar on product craft, demonstrating what good looks like across product strategy and roadmap development, design, development, documentation, testing, and monitoring
• Partner with a broad range of stakeholders across HR, engineering, cyber, risk, and legal to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers while maintaining a holistic view of tradeoffs and risks
• Collaborate with peers leading data and platform initiatives with HR and across the enterprise to ensuring continual knowledge sharing and feedback loops to drive innovation and minimize arbitrary uniqueness
• Communicate to senior leaders and internal customers to share updates, resolve roadblocks, and surface constraints
• Build trust and credibility through consistent delivery and effective management of complex dependencies

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 3+ years of experience in Agile product management

• 3+ years of experience in building BI/analytics tools and platforms

• 3+ years experience building HR/talent software-as-a-service

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product ManagementThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
