Job Description:Your responsibilities will include:
- Thermal and mechanical validation testing and stressing, and the maintenance of test and lab equipment.
- You will also contribute to the management of the team's High Value Inventory storage area, including providing check in/out, material audits, and shipping/receiving services.
- You'll be responsible for highly technical functional tasks in support of a variety of hardware validation engineering activities, such as thermal, vibration, shock, acoustics, and electrical.
- Collaborating with engineering teams on cutting edge product development, troubleshooting and data collection.
- Building, configuring, and testing client validation platforms. Installation of various PC operating system and software applications.
- Configuration and operation of industry standard test and measurement equipment for debug and data collection.
- Assembly of non-technical fixtures such as test benches and product mounting tools.
- Work in a lab environment adhering to, ensuring, and defining best practices and processes
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness of lab and workspace
- Work daily (Monday - Friday) onsite in our Folsom Labs with occasional, mandatory off shift hours and overtime as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
- An Associates in a STEM related degree with 10 or more years' experience working as an equipment technician, with experience in troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues.
- 10+ years' work experience in maintenance and soldering.
- Must be willing to lift to 35 pounds (18 kgs) at least 4 times a day.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD (Fusion, SolidWorks, or Creo), rapid prototyping, and CNC machining.
- Working knowledge and experience with Intel's inventory management systems
- Experience in installation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues in a Windows environment.
- Experience with PCs, dataloggers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and Lab View
- Experience with thermal/mechanical validation, rapid prototyping, and willingness to learn CNC machining
