In this role, you are responsible for bringing client commitments to deliver competitive automotive product selection to the eBay platform through the full sales cycle process. The process includes, prospecting, qualifying, communicating, and closing automotive decision makers on the eBay proposition. You will build your pipeline in person (travel required), over the phones, and through video conferencing.

What you will accomplish:
  • Build a balanced pipeline of prospects to consistently meet and exceed target revenue

  • Prospect and qualify leads, presenting the eBay value proposition and getting contractual commitments

  • Ability to travel 25-40% of the time

  • Work within cross functional teams to grow your area through account acquisition and retention.

  • Form relationships across dealership organizations via in person visits, telephone, webinar, and digital platforms.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the eBay value proposition relevant to the eBay Motors business vertical.

  • Document all communication with sellers in an accurate and timely manner in established CRM systems - ensuring highlights are communicated and understood by internal stakeholders.

  • Set appropriate dealer expectations around the integration process and account management support, ensuring a smooth transition of new sellers to the account management team.

What you will bring:
  • 4+ years of full cycle business to business sales experience.

  • Automotive industry experience a plus.

  • Salesforce experience a plus

  • Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written English.

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong bias for action

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
