As an Executive Director in Securities Services Sales, you will serve as a Sales & Client Executive for the Securities Services business focused on the Asset Manager client segment across the US. In this capacity, you will be primarily responsible for growing our business through managing and expanding strategic existing client relationships but will also be tasked with growth through new client acquisition.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying, prospecting, leading and winning new business with institutional clients in the asset manager segment across the US
- Manage relationships with existing clients, including ownership of commercial strategy, contractual negotiations and cross-selling incremental business opportunities
- Create marketing materials, updates, request for proposal (RFPs) or presentations for clients or internal use as needed, ensuring all materials meet brand and marketing standards
- Manage the client's and J.P. Morgan's mutual interests through in-depth calling and understanding of opportunities
- Work effectively with internal partners across product, service and operations to deliver a best in class service to our existing clients
- Develop and maintain industry and market expertise to maximize the client's business strategy while partnering with banking, markets and asset management coverage to identify opportunities
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Substantial track record within sales, investment operations, product management, accounting or global custody industry experience and has experience interacting with both front and back office personnel at all levels
- Proven sales experience with multiple client segments, preferably within securities servicing business, or software as service companies
- Detailed understanding of financial markets and products including traditional asset classes and alternative products (e.g. hedge funds, prime brokerage, private equity funds, real estate / property funds) and familiarity with the portfolio management process
- Proficient in building and maintaining deep client relationships
- Independent and driven, able to identify and close sales opportunities through an active client calling effort and partnership with product teams
- Confident strategic, creative and problem solving skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, team building and planning skills
- Possess high level of quantitative and analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial markets
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses will be required for the role so it is preferred if the candidate already is licensed. If they do not, they will need to obtain the licenses before or soon after they start.
