The Sr. Lead Financial Analyst - Operations & Technology Financial Optimization is an integral member of the O&T Financial Optimization team. Partnering with O&T colleagues, Finance, and Human Resources, the Senior Analyst - Operations & Technology Financial Optimization conducts detailed data analytics to support business, financial and program objectives while meeting FP&A requirements. Using multiple sources of financial, transactional, and resourcing data, the Senior Analyst will assist with the identification of key trends, business opportunities and risks for management.
Key Responsibilities:
Systematically conduct financial analysis to evaluate potential costs, benefits, risks, and returns associated with business opportunities and strategic choices.
Performs detailed data analytics on resourcing, expense, and financial results.
Identify process improvements across the organization that support qualitative and quantitative decisions.
Work with program leads and sponsors to ensure business case and cost benefits are in line with business goals.
Collaborate with FP&A team to meet business objectives.
Support the planning and financial governance processes.
Through analytics identify productivity and expense management ideas.
Support and track execution; driving productivity, growth, and optimizing of capital.
As appropriate, analyze financial impacts of contract changes.
Participate in review and challenge sessions with the Business, Programs, and Finance
Appropriately assess risk to Financial Optimization efforts
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of internal reporting requirement.
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
10+ years of financial experience financial services industry.
Strong analytical skills, as well as control and compliance mindset.
Strong MS Office skills
Leadership experience and business acumen.
Ability to innovate and champion progress for efficiency and productivity.
Sense of urgency in implementing processes and evaluating priorities; decisive, action-oriented, and practical.
Ability to interact with senior management.
Demonstrated communication/presentation skills.
Ability to drive change and support for performance improvement.
Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business units / functions to deliver results.
