In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.

As an individual contributor, you will leverage your experience in the evaluation, development, and negotiation of commercial transactions, contracts, proposals, and quotes while ensuring compliance with current policies and procedures and minimizing contractual risk.

Your role:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, creating contract solutions that minimize risk, ensure compliance, and deliver customer value.
  • Negotiate and manage sales and service agreements (capital equipment, consumables, SaaS, consulting, etc.) in partnership with internal teams.
  • Support proposal processes (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) while streamlining policies and procedures to align with business requirements.
  • Provide guidance on contractual rights and obligations, and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and standardization.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (required), with a Paralegal, Certified Contract Management (CCM) [or other contract management certification], or Juris Doctor (J.D.) desired.
  • You have a minimum of5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (or a combination of experience and education).
  • Your skills include proficiency in MS Office (Excel skills are required); Saleforce.com (SFDC),
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (preferred, with the ability to learn quickly). Additional skills in Lean methodology.Project management with solid analytical and negotiation skills required.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $71,250 to $114,000.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $75,000 to $120,000.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $78,750 to 126,000.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $84,000 to 134,400.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
