Accountable to 1) develop and implement business category strategy 2) deliver Business Category results (Sales, %CSG.%IGM, Market share, in line with SPOR and AOP. Drives Category financial & business performance incl. media sufficiency & efficiency, I&D, and ensures category pricing strategy is in place.
Develops and integrates winning Business Category strategy covering SOB choices, where to play and how to win strategies, determines key enablers with input of the RBUL.
Responsible for developing winning and future fit innovation roadmap rooted in deep, validated consumer, shopper and customer insights and in close collaboration with Business Leader, Innovation and Regional CLs.
Accountable for E2E success of NPI as per VPC and PDLM process including concept feasibility testing, market development, launch readiness, execution and market adoption in close partnership with Innovation Leader and Regional Category Leader.
Responsible for portfolio strategy for Business Category, incl. region view based on input by RBUL. Drives portfolio productivity and efficiency, incl. phase-in and phase out programs and optimize SKU count by cross region synergies.
Drives Category brand strength via owning Marketing Strategy, positioning, consumer experience, comm roadmap & priorities campaigns, incl professional toolkit with guidance for Regions. Own A&P allocation for comm roadmap.
Lives and breathes category consumer, shopper insights delivering winning proposition, portfolio and marketing toolkits.
Drives consumer preference and satisfaction (R&R) through integration of feedback into innovation
Accountable for key cost and quality metrics of the BC incl. CoNQ (phase in/out related Obsolescence)
Involved in Make / Buy & footprint allocation decisions.

You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree above and 20+ years of consumer industry experience
Profound experience to translate deep consumer under-standing and sense of trends in China to rest of world and to lead global execution of the product launches, technical and regulatory conditions
Experience as an integrator to work in a global business with complex market/channel structures and lead international teams.
Strong in senior stakeholder management and able to work effectively in a matrix organization
Excellent communication and influencing skills in Mandarin and English
