Quality Technician Night shiftlocated inBuffalo Grove, IL.
Reporting to theQuality Technicianrole involves performing routine dosimetry, microbiological testing and data analysis.
What a typical day looks like:
- Conducts routine microbiological testing and data analysis, including bioburden, endotoxin, and media assessment.
- Performs environmental monitoring, both non-viable and viable, including surface and/or air sampling.
- Utilizes and understands the connection between Climet Air sampler and computer software for results entry.
- Conducting routine dosimetry testing and data analysis, including handling routine dosimeter monitoring trays and processing dosimeters within software applications.
- Reading alanine dosimeters using sensitive instrumentation.
- Recording performance checks on dosimetry equipment, such as temperature monitoring and performance verification.
- Understanding the irradiation process and following documented procedures.
- Troubleshooting spectrometers, spectrophotometers, and associated computer software.
- Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing test results to support the irradiation process with the application of Good Documentation Practices.
- Supporting IQ/OQ/PQ validation and requalification.
- Maintaining the laboratory area in a GMP state at all times, following EHS and 5S guidelines.
- Documenting irradiation processes using GDP and GMP.
- Ensuring personal training requirements are met and training records are current.
- Authoring, reviewing, and executing validation protocols for laboratory equipment and test methods.
- Identifying, escalating, and investigating alert/OOS results related to dosimetry, microbial testing, and environmental monitoring.
- Understanding and complying with work instructions, as well as authoring, reviewing, and revising documents as necessary.
- Assisting in preparing analysis of, and reports on, audit results.
- Participating in the corrective action system and driving internal and external issue resolution.
- Assisting in the generation, execution, and summarization of special laboratory studies.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of related experience in dosimetry or microbiology.

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $21.06 USD - $28.96 USD Hourly
