Collaborate across marketing, product, and sales teams to develop a comprehensive positioning and messaging strategy that puts customer outcomes first
Identify and lead critical and complex marketing initiatives that increase awareness, interest, and purchase intent for Cisco wireless solutions
Create compelling product content and technical thought leadership to engage with the largest enterprise customers in the world and a wide range of audiences, from executive to technical practitioners
Stay on top of the competitive landscape and equip our sales and partner teams with competitive intelligence
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence and understand the product roadmap—including the ability to present roadmaps to customer executives
Analyze quantitative product, pipeline, and marketing data to guide product development and go-to-market decisions across the team
Serve as a trusted technical and marketing advisor for Cisco Wireless, while working with the wider marketing team on go-to-market and demand generation activities
Take the stage and evangelize the Cisco Wireless vision at first and third-party events

What you bring
5+ years of product marketing experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in the wireless networking space
Proven track record of developing differentiated and compelling messaging and positioning, and sales enablement and customer-facing content across written, presentation, and digital media
Ability to synthesize complex technical topics and market dynamics and develop novel points of view that can reinforce Cisco thought leadership.
Experience building competitive sales enablement and marketing content for a technical product
Excellent communication and presentation skills—both to internal and external audiences
Ability to construct, draft, copyedit, and publish high-quality written content (blogs, position papers, abstracts) for a wide array of audiences (technical, executive, practitioner, business, etc)
Working across written, presentation, and digital media to create compelling sales enablement and customer-facing content that requires minimal design support
