You will play a highly visible, critical role managing new design engineering projects. You will coordinate between different groups within and outside of Cisco (including software & hardware engineering, marketing, manufacturing, customer support, testing, reliability, documentation, supply chain, operations, and finance). You will define and drive development of new product programs while managing change on existing programs.
As an engineering program manager, you would be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy on your programs. You will work closely with Engineering on product development schedules, dependencies, risks, and budgets. You identify risks, develop mitigation plans and drive conflict resolutions to ensure seamless project execution to timely product delivery.Your engineering background allows you to understand product requirements, technical risks, and validation strategy necessary to accelerate development process. You communicate and present project status, highlight schedule risk, and develop recovery plans in the event of project slip.
You are savvy with a high level of energy, flexibility, a "can-do attitude". You enjoy partnering with Senior Leaders. You love learning, taking on new responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. This position is people, data, and communications intensive; it requires:
· 5-8 years related experience
· Computer science, telecommunication, automatic control, or relative subject
· Excellent oral and written English
· Excellent communication skill
