For this role, you will be part of a team of 5-10 developers working on the development ofHelix (Open) Telemetry and Helix Intelligent Integration products.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 5+ years working with Scala
• Experience with modern effect systems for Scala such as ZIO, Monix, or Cats Effect
• Knowhow of Java or other concurrency patterns
• Strong experience in Test Driven Development and experience using ScalaTest or similar
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex details
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, Postgres, etc)
• Experience working with messaging frameworks like Kafka
• Experience working with cloud technologies: Oracle, AWS, or GCP
• Experience working in containerized environments like Kubernetes and using tools like Kubectl

Preferred:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Arangodb or Clickhouse
• Experience working with OpenTelemetry
• Experience working with existing APM solutions like Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar
