Drive the reliability of offline inspection and test equipment
Develop new inspection methods and fixtures
Work on robust solutions for inspection automation and data transfer
Get hands-on with pilot process equipment to continuously improve metrology and understand the fundamentals
Support metrology and inspection equipment installation and commissioning on new production stations and interact with suppliers
Work with cross-functional teams to connect downstream issues with data from offline measurements
Train technicians on the calibration and maintenance of the inline metrology and inspection systems. Be able to manage field wiring, pneumatic and fluid piping
Drive advanced statistics, data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data proficiently
Develop and maintain metrology & inspection equipment documentation to accurately define the process for cross-functional teams (equipment, quality, production, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ experience in a relevant field and/or Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Show expertise in the following areas: Zeiss CMM, Keyence VR, Mark 10
Familiarity with GD&T, gage capability concepts, and statistical analysis
Proficiency with least one material characterization technique with proven ability to troubleshoot at system and module levels to achieve the desired metrology specifications
Experience with optical sensors working with a broad range of wavelengths from infrared to UV and/or X-ray based characterization tools and experimentations
Expertise in at least once statistical software package (JMP, Minitab, etc.)
