Position Overview

As a Therapeutic Area Manager, Vaccines, you will play a crucial role in mastering the Vaccines field and contributing to public health. You will be a valued partner to our customers, including pharmacies, primary care physicians, nurses, and targeted disease specialist clinics in the regions within your responsibility. By collaborating closely with them, you will understand their challenges and work together to find innovative solutions. Your goal will be to bring our innovations to more patients, faster.

In this customer-facing role, you will spend 80% of your working time on customer contacts, becoming an expert on the needs and considerations of pharmacies, primary care clinics, decision-makers, and patients in your designated region Funen and Jutland. The eco-system around vaccines is changing rapidly these years, and we have an ambition to be leading partner in the change. Working within the framework of our strict ethical code and local regulations, you will establish close working relationships with your customers. You will also act as the point of contact for priority accounts and work closely with your Franchise Lead to prioritize accounts and develop compelling offers.

Primary activities and Key Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and create business opportunities that benefit healthcare consumer, customers, and the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including pharmacies, primary care clinics, decision-makers, and consumers / patients advocacy group.
  • Establish the ecosystem around vaccines in pharmacy channel, including develop and implement customer engagement strategy in collaboration with cross functional team,
  • Provide scientific and clinical expertise, offering approved disease and therapeutic information to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize accounts and develop compelling offers for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, local regulations, and company policies in all customer interactions.
  • Keep relevant internal departments updated on customer interactions and market insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and initiatives.

Education, Background & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of commercial experience in a healthcare environment, preferably from pharmacy channel
  • A good understanding of the healthcare system, and a commercial insight and understanding of the pharmacy & primary care dynamics.
  • Your scientific and clinical knowledge will enable you to provide approved disease and therapeutic information to key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Fluent communication in both conversational and written Danish and English is essential
  • Excellent storytelling abilities that can challenge the status quo and persuade others to embrace your ideas
  • You understand that success is achieved as part of a cross functional team
  • Your high drive for results, combined with your ability to listen and collaborate, makes you a valued colleague to both your local coworkers and international contacts.
