In this role, you will bring your knowledge, experience, and ability to lead technical experts and apply innovative solutions in planning, design, construction, and operations to tackle transit challenges. You'll initiate or escalate the correction of any conditions that may adversely affect the project's timely completion.
As a BRT Project Manager, you will:
- Maintain close coordination and communication with project team members, the client, multiple stakeholders. You will oversee the project through planning, design, and construction phases.
- Communicate with and present to clients, project stakeholders, and the public.
- Manage external clients and stakeholders, as well as internal staff, to complete work on time and within budget, including interfacing with teams working on related programs and projects.
- Manages the activities in evaluating contractor and consultant bids and contracts and prepares selection criteria for hiring consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate and/or oversee preliminary and final design, procurement construction, and readiness activities with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Oversee interdisciplinary teams and provide review and guidance during the development of deliverables.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and serve as a liaison between clients and other agencies when necessary.
- Mentor and lead other transit staff while fostering an environment where innovation and differences are openly shared, embraced, and incorporated into the team's activities.
- Assist with proposal development and participate in interviews and presentations.
- Engage in the Jacobs growth process and collaborate with Sales teams.
