The opportunity

• Application Development and Maintenance Technical Lead
• Expected joining date Immediate.
• Experience: 4 to 10 years’ experience

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis for system enhancements, provide estimates, guide team to deliver the enhancements per the estimations.
• Participate in incident management P1 / P2 ticket resolution analysis, troubleshoot root cause rapidly and guide team for workaround / permanent fixes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture, external teams like EIS support for base issues.
• Improve existing software.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Attention to detail.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Willingness to work in night shifts and on-call support.

Skills and attributes for success

• At least 3 years of experience with building and deploying solutions in EIS / Java based applications.
• Must be an expert in core technical skills: Java / J2EE / Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, SpringBoot, Microservices, Web Service (REST & SOAP), Apache Camel – CXF, Kafka, Heap dump analysis, Thread dump analysis.
• Hands-on experience in EIS v12 / v20 – Policy Core / Claims Core/ Billing Core / Customer Core / DXP Capabilities.
• Good to have experience in EIS upgrades, Dynatrace, Grafana, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, Backstage.
• Good working knowledge in Dynatrace, heap dump analysis, EIS base upgrades, Grafana, Opentelemetry.
• Proven experience as an EIS application developer / support analyst.
• Good SQL skill.
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience.
• Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.
