In this role you will partner with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, controls, AIML, and embedded FW engineers to realize sensor system designs. Responsibilities include: drive system level sensor specification definition, system architecture and tradeoff analysis, close collaboration with cross-functional teams across hardware and software.
- BS or MS in electrical engineering or similar field
- 8+ years of hands-on perception and sensor system design experience
- Experience selecting and integrating electronics and sensors in novel architectures
- Strong multi-domain engineering analytical skills
- Experience developing system architecture, sensor systems analysis, and modeling
- Strong fundamentals in sensors and the impact of impairments on sensor performance
- Exceptional HW/SW problem solving skills
- Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments at once
- PhD in electrical engineering or similar field
- Experience leading teams through product development cycle from concept development to production bring up
- Large scale data analysis and knowledge of statistical techniques
- Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills
