Description
This is an exciting, fast-paced role requiring both technical expertise and broad program management skills. As a Wireless EPM, you will partner with teams throughout Apple and with external suppliers. You will contribute to the technical strategy, drive engineering build schedules including material planning and design readiness, and be responsible for handling and communicating status and issues along the way. You will be working with technology suppliers, vendors, and highly skilled teams with a diverse set of backgrounds. Position will require some international travel for factory builds and vendor visits.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail to track design changes and ability to handle complex build matrices and micro schedules
- Experience with consumer electronics manufacturing and/or RF testing processes, preferably, but not required, related to antennas
- Drive technical meetings between geographically diverse antenna/ RF/ product design/ manufacturing/ operations/ quality teams, and follow-through with action items
- Responsibility for off-shore supplier management
Education & Experience
B. Sc. Degree in Engineering required, Electrical or Mechanic Engineering preferred 3 years of relevant work experience in hardware engineering, preferably in technical program management
