In this highly visible role the Senior Partner Development Manager will be responsible for a network of GSI executive relationships to deliver on global initiatives with visibility to executive leadership. The role will require working across AWS products and the GSI partner to identify and provide guidance on areas for improvements that directly contribute to the growth of partner practice revenue.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with a GSI partners to define and execute, or refine existing joint sales and go to market (GTM) programs to ensure maximum customer relevance and channel success
• Work with GSI partners to be an advisor, who can relentlessly evangelize key messages and new service features to all constituents/stakeholders within the GSI’s
• Engage, train, and standardize sales motions across the GSI’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities
• Broker and oversee dialogs between assigned GSI partners and the Amazon Service Teams to drive and maintain highly constructive working relationships
• Take ownership of and report upon a global initiatives with visibility to executive leadership position is based out of India.
- • 10+ years of sales, consulting, partner management or business alliance development in the enterprise software and/or cloud space
- • Experience developing GTM plans to drive outcomes with measurable results.
- • Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
- • Strong writing skills
- • Business background to build, drive engagements and interact at the executive level.
- • Ability to prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
- Previous experience driving growth within a GSI/SI organization with Software as a Service or other cloud-based technologies
- • Highly motivated, possess a strong sense of ownership
- • Exceptional organizational skills, high integrity and accountability
- • Ability to present positioning and messaging clearly
- • Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
- • Experience with sales enablement activities.
