Corporate Third-Party Oversight function (CTPO) is responsible for defining and implementing supplier/third party oversight (TPO) and JPMC Inter-Affiliate Oversight (IAO) programs managing third party and outsourcing risk across the firm. This includes building awareness of the program at the firm and ensuring consistency globally across Lines of Business/Legal Entities and Corporate Functions. You will ensure our vendors are performing to the same high standards that JPMorgan Chase holds itself accountable to including client service, quality, control, regulatory compliance, business resiliency and protection of information. This is accomplished by educating Program stakeholders on Program requirements and their roles and responsibilities.
As a Regional Corporate Third-Party Oversight Lead in Global Supplier Services (GSS), you will report to the APAC GSS Regional Lead. You will manage the CTPO Governance and Stakeholder Management teams and represent the function to regional Executive Leadership and provide context on regional trends and requirements back to the central CTPO teams. Daily management will include delivering on regional examinations, regulatory support and executing on the critical regional program objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide CTPO Program subject matter expertise to APAC stakeholders.
- Act as the interface between the Central Programme and Regional Executives.
- Represent the CTPO Program in region and work with the Central Programme leads to maintain subject matter expertise in Program requirements.
- Manage and develop team members.
- Create consistency where opportunities exist- across Governance and Stakeholder teams.
- Support audit requirements, in conjunction with the line of business, SOS, SAS, IAO, project and location teams.
- Support regulatory reviews on outsourcing.
- Support the region in the scoping of local regulatory requirements and identifying any regional gaps in processes, tools, etc.
- Lead meetings with key SMEs and Executives in the region and provide feedback to the Central Team.
- Support the implementation of the strategic tools and ensure that regional variances are accommodated or provide clear guidance on out of scope and location responsibilities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 10 Years of Experience
- Minimum Education Qualification Level: Degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of risk management and control principles
- Strong Executive presence.
- Strong experience in APAC outsourcing regulations and outsourcing governance.
- Experience in managing audits and regulatory reviews.
- Outstanding listening and analytic skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator at the senior management level.
- Strong personnel and organizational management skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking and a proactive approach.
- Excellent judgment, particularly the ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions.
- Ability to partner closely with related functions (Sourcing, Legal & Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program.
- Direct management skills to develop, mentor and lead the team.
