Responsibilities
Increase the effectiveness of learning solutions by identifying and recommending format/modalities that create an optimal learning experience. Consult with senior leaders on performance improvement and learning strategy.
Design and develop curriculum, programs, learning materials and performance support tools (including self-study, classroom, eLearning, etc.) based on industry design standards for a given modality (includes traditional, web, and mobile design).
Design content, including (but not limited to) measurable learning objectives, leaders and participant materials and tools, experiential scenarios and simulations, assessment and evaluation questions.
Conduct stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews.
Design training solutions that demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles and leverage current learning trends, including gamification and rich media (example: video) to enhance the learner experience.
Create behaviorally-based assessments and evaluation methods. Consult with senior leaders on performance improvement and learning strategy.
Partner with content developers to support material development needs, as appropriate.
Participate in stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews that enable identification and curation of relevant content for the end-learner. Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities, when applicable.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience in Training Design or at least 3 years of experience in Development Delivery or a combination
At least 1 year of experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, or a combination of the two to create online or eLearning courseware
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in consulting/coaching in a corporate setting
3+ years of experience in project management
2+ years of Training Design and Development for digital modalities
2+ years of experience with mobile content creation/curation and delivery
2+ years of experience with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, or similar)
2+ year of experience working with graphics tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator or similar
3+ years of experience in project management
