Account Manager, Talent Shared Services
As part of the HR Enablement team, you will have the accountability of transitioning of talent activities to the GDS Shared service function and ensuring the day to day operations delivery as per agreed terms. Ensuring the GDS organization is aligned to the global model and ensuring that the activities are aligned and as defined.
Being part of HR Enablement, you will be the key POC between Talent functions and business users. You will be responsible for managing stakeholders, in understanding the business needs and to strategize the deliverables accordingly.
You will Lead transition of activities from retained organization to Talent Services, you will manage activities such as project management, change management, talent services and retained organization readiness.
Your key responsibilities
- Ensure governance and oversight during all phases of HR Services transition programs, be key point of
- contact for Program Team and own the overall region deployment plan
- For any change program required within the Region team (e.g. creating efficiencies between functions,
- cross-functional engagement initiatives) lead, and/or contribute to the change management approach
- Drive the agreed governance between the Region and HR Services and be the Region relationship
- manager for the HR Services Delivery Manager
- Share the Region's strategic needs with HR Services and help them understand how it impact the
- delivery of HR services
- Act as a “steward” for HR processes and activities delivered by HR Services, enabling alignment of
- expectations between Region team and HR Services team
- Meet regularly with the HR Services Delivery Manager to provide feedback and discuss quality and
- timeliness of service execution
- Take required action to escalate issues to HR Services Delivery Manager and drive collaboration with HR
- Services to resolve
- Ensure maintenance and timely update of knowledge base (articles and database) to enable effective
- service delivery
- Inform HR Services on key region information (e.g., changes in volumes, out-of-cycle projects, key
- calendar events and be the “eyes and ears” of how services are perceived) and inform the Region on key information received from HR Services (e.g. service measurements, operational matters)
- Identify areas for process efficiency within IBM processes
- Review and approve any changes in scope of agreed services between the Region and HR Services
- Monitor Talent shared services productivity and utilization; keep a tight control on TS headcount actual
- versus budgeted

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10-12 years relevant experience in HR and Shared services/ HR operations
- Knowledge of HR processes and HR technology
- Understanding of Shared services operating model
- Knowledge of understanding HR Key Performance Indicators
- Experience in participating in process transitions
- Experience to coordinate multiple projects/ initiatives simultaneously and meet demanding time frames
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge of working with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge on project and change management
- Experience in Managing and mentoring high performing teams
- Experience of working with virtual teams
