Product Development Engineer

• Leading data collection and compilation to meet the business needs of the program
• Implementing new standard processes and providing feedback to improve them
• Determining answers to questions through experimentation

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• One (1) year of synthetic chemistry experience in a private, public, government or military environment, including scale up from bench (~10g) to pilot (>5kg) scale

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Rich experience with new product, process and/or technology scale-up and deployment of new technologies.
• Experience in the fast-paced semiconductor industry is helpful
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with colleagues around the globe as well as manufacturing counterparts.
• Self-motivated with a strong growth mindset
