As a Building Automation and Controls Service Technician

You will report directly to our and can be located in or surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
• Provide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc.
• Ensure proper use of safety and personal protection equipment
• Acquire security and other clearances as required by customer

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Technical and mechanical aptitude
• Experience identifying and properly using trade tools appropriately
• Ability to work independently
• Some knowledge of basic HVAC systems, sensors, or automation principals
• Ability to travel throughout the service area
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE:

• 2+ years of experience within the construction or field service industry
• Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc.)
• Experience in controls, mechanical, fire and security industry.
• Experience dealing with customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $45,300 - $65,500. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
