As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) role in the Strategic EPM team, you will be responsible for the system level products (products included but not limited to: Mac, iPhone, iPad, Watch, Audio, Home, Accessories in the following areas:- Post-ramp qualifications and new technology trials on current shipping product platforms- MLB/FATP site qualifications for shipping products- Drive as EPM for products in development
This hands-on EPM role focus on driving and aligning cross-functional engineering resources.Involve in partnering with NPI EPM group in next generation product developments in post-proto phase. - Respond quickly and effectively, to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture- Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks, and able to filter and distill relevant information for the targeted audience- Requires an in-depth understanding of development and manufacturing process- Requires to have an engineering degree and experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- BS ME/EE degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of overall industry experience shipping consumer electronics products
- Experience in working with Asia OEMs in high volume production products
- Strong multidisciplinary, technical background
- Impeccable organizational, multi-tasking, and management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- MS ME/EE degree or equivalent
- Experience with portable products including displays, batteries, WiFi/BT, cellular, input devices, enclosures, silicon, and/or mass storage
