A typical day:
As an intern, you’ll be expected to:
- Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
- Communicate with the Legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates
- Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
- Actively participate in, and contribute to, the Legal and broader Airbnb community
Your expertise:
This opportunity is forsecond-year (2L) students enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school pursuing a Juris Doctoratewith the following background:
- At least one of the following: completed privacy coursework OR earned a CIPP certification certification OR have previous experience within the privacy space
- Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice, specifically in privacy law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized
- Comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members
- Strong interpersonal skills and interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
- Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
- Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to review and distill information from multiple sources into concise and pertinent legal memoranda
- Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted) - visa sponsorship is unavailable
