As a Translator in Corporate & Investment Bank to mainly support IB team, you will provide accurate, clear and professional translation for investment banking.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, clear and professional translation for investment banking from Chinese to English and vice versa in an efficient manner
• Liaise with bankers to clarify work scope and / or negotiate deadline and ensure translation is of high quality and meets / exceeds expectations
• Collaborate with the team on workflow management
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of translation
• Suggest / implement continual improvement in translation services
• Demonstrate partnership with other lines of business

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• University degree or above in language, translation or equivalent
• Teamwork, initiative and attention to details
• Highly client-centric and solution-oriented
• A high level of professional discretion and work ethics
• Flexible in working hours / shifts based on business needs
• Proficiency in MS Office, with basic formatting skills in Word and PowerPoint
• Experience in leveraging machine translation tools
• Financial translation experience is a MUST (related to IBD)
• Knowledge of capital markets and eagerness to learn
