In this role, you will:

• Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high-level systems consultation for the technology teams
• Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
• Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
• Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
• Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years' experience in DevOps, with focus on Java based applications.
• 3+ years' experience troubleshooting environments across the entire ecosystem (i.e. applications to infrastructure), identifying root cause, fixing, and documenting problems, and implementing preventive measures.
• 3+ years' experience with scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Groovy).
• 3+ years' experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an SRE role or similar capacity with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with automating manual tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Ability to quickly acquire system/domain knowledge and become a platform SME.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, OS (Windows/Unix),scripting(powershell/shell-script),DBs (SQL/Oracle), deployment tools (UCD/Harness), load-balancing solutions (AVI/AG/F5), network communications, cloud systems (PCF, OCP, Azure, GCP) and other technologies such asTomcat/Kafka/MQ/FTP/NDM.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with different monitoring/logging tools and responding to alerts to take the necessary actions to fix the issue.
• 1+ years of Banking experience
• Experience in Wire Payments flow, and ACH payment processingis nice to have.
