Job Purpose:
As a vital member of Portfolio Management Analytics – Data & Platform team within the global Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data solutions that fortify our firm’s risk management strategies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring robust and effective risk management across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy big data flows tailored to business needs for Portfolio Health Monitoring, Covenant Monitoring, Exception Management, Limits Management, Early Warning Credit Management, and Counterparty Credit Risk Management
- Work with large and complex data sets, both internal and external, to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of credit risk strategies using a variety of programming tools
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Risk and Control requirements throughout the technical process, including documentation, testing, and ongoing performance monitoring

Skills and Experience:
- 4 plus years of relevant experience in data engineering/ Hadoop development/ advanced analytics/ modeling
- Proven experience working with large and complex data sets
- Experience with data engineering techniques and tools such as Spark, SQL, Python, Tableau, etc
- Understanding and project experience of data management such as data pipeline, data structure and data quality governance
- Proficient in Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, or a related field

- Advanced analytic ability and problem-solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data driven solutions
- Ability to deploy large complex data processes in a standardized and sustainable manner from inception to implementation
