Manage operating status, planned/unplanned outages, and overall facility and utility operations
Develop, oversee, and continuously improve programs, procedures, and SOPs for facility operations
Support, train, and coach staff in operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations
Identify and implement building improvements and equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency
Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to optimize facility systems and execute activities effectively
Champion a high-performance safety culture while driving compliance with performance and talent management criteria
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of leadership experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, solar, or battery manufacturing facilities
Expert knowledge and application of first principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Extensive experience with complex facility systems, including process, mechanical, electrical, and controls
Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
