Your responsibilities will include:
- Hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
- Assessing project team needs across the projects and working with technical leads and program managers to ensure they are set up for technology and product development success.
- Providing direction and/or guidance to R&D engineers and technicians who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Fostering a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Collaboratively determines project staff assignments and schedules to meet completion dates and R&D deliverables.

- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or more from accredited school in Mechanical, Biotechnical, Biomedical, or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in medical equipment or medical device design
- Demonstrated capability to produce innovative solutions for complex technical problems.
- Personal drive, individual accountability & a strong bias for action.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in recent role
- Willingness to work onsite at our Maple Grove, MN location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Class II or Class III medical device product development
- Catheter design and development experience
- 2+ years of direct management experience
