Your primary responsibility as a Survey Research Scientist on the Reputation Marketing & Insights team will be to provide research support for our internal employee communications tracking survey. You will be responsible for conducting basic and advanced modeling on attitudinal and perception-based survey data, as well as developing the mechanisms to ensure statistical rigor in our sampling, weighting, and measurement practices. You will dive deep into data, establish strategic territories, and identify audience opportunities in order to guide the broader Internal Corporate Communications team.
Key job responsibilities
- Conduct basic and advanced modeling on survey data (e.g., regression, structural equation modeling, latent growth curve modeling, Shapley analysis, etc.)- Develop experiments to improve survey design, data quality, and drive causal learnings
- Write code to generate data tables and charts
- Manage the data ingestion pipeline, maintain, and improve existing data dashboard- Identify messaging opportunities and inform internal communication strategies that will drive primary KPIs
- 4+ years of investigating the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to business problems and products experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of quantitative field research experience
- Experience communicating qualitative research methods and findings to non-qualitative researchers
- Knowledge of R or Python
- Ability to run and interpret statistical models (e.g., regressions, structural equation modeling, Shapley models, etc.)
- Experience converting research studies into tangible real-world changes
- Experience with qualitative research methods and LLM-based analysis techniques
