Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with health care professionals in the field of Oncology to help them make a difference for patients as you help bring the hope of improved cancer care to more patients in Hungary with the leading pharmaceutical agent in Hungary.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Identify customer and patient needs and develop solutions to serve these
  • Analyze local and global market trends with respect to the scientific, competitive and reimbursement landscape to identify commercial opportunities
  • Define and lead the implementation of the marketing and promotional strategy for lung indication to optimize growth and profitability, ensuring it is aligned with global and regional strategies and customized to the local market. Set key business priorities and promotional plan, as well as quarterly goals and OKRs
  • Develop and implement marketing materials, tools, and services, leveraging regionally developed solutions where possible and aligning with medical affairs, market access and the digital marketing team
  • Leverage data and digital, and search for new and innovative ways of interacting with Customers
  • Plan and manage the annual promotional budgets
  • Responsible for working closely with and giving strategic input to the local and international team on customer strategy, brand strategy (incl. digital marketing team)
  • Work closely with agencies, Professional Societies and Scientific leaders
  • Ensure the completion of administrative tasks for all events in line with company policy
  • Coordinate to secure necessary approvals for promotional materials

Candidate profile:

  • Strong customer and business focus
  • A true team player who builds trust and is capable to work in a complex environment (Regulatory, Medical affairs, Market access, Sales force, Digital, etc.)
  • Track record in project management, experience in management of pharmaceutical industry projects (e.g. patient support programs, lay public disease awareness campaigns, patient pathway projects) considered an advantage
  • Impactful communicator
  • Brings positive intelligence into the work environment
  • Strategic and tactical mindset at the same time
  • Strong analytical skills – capable of seeing the big picture in data
  • Demonstrates drive and commitment

Experiences needed:

  • 4-5 years’ experience and proven success in marketing roles
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships with scientific leaders
  • Familiarity/experience with digital marketing campaigns considered an advantage
  • Pharma experience, with Oncology experience very helpful
  • University/Master degree (Health Sciences or Business/Economics) and business proficiency in English (native/business proficient in Hungarian)
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office, Veeva, etc.)
