The Structurer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas. Significant impact on a function and/or the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.

What you’ll do:

• Originate transactions through product pitches / marketing to the sales force and clients
• Lead approval process of new products and bespoke transactions
• Lead execution of mandated transactions
• Be an integral member of a team that will generate product ideas

What we’ll need from you:

• Prior knowledge of structured financing and derivatives
• Experience of solution type trades is key (eg. Structured financing, non-recourse financing, repo to maturity etc)
• Familiarity with fixed income markets including public credit and private credit
• Familiarity with pricing of structured financing trades, highly competent at using spreadsheets, building tools etc.
• Experience of dealing with legal, regulatory and accounting issues (issues, documents, rules, people etc.) is key for this role.
• A quantitative degree in e.g. mathematics, economics, physics or computer science is preferred.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years structuring experience from a financial institution
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
