Your key responsibilities
• Comprehensive processing and management of payroll agenda and payroll calculation in accordance with applicable legislation and internal corporate policies
• Communication with clients and state institutions
• Responsibility for administrative activities related to payroll processing
• Preparation of outputs from processed payroll according to client requirements
• Preparation and processing of employee on-boarding/off-boarding documentation
• Registration and deregistration of employees with health insurance companies and the Social Insurance Agency
• Processing of evidence of employee working hours and calculations of wages/salaries including bonuses
• Processing of monthly statements for insurance companies, monthly overview of taxes, annual tax declarations, confirmations of taxable income, annual tax reconciliations
• Processing of ELDP, responsibility for archiving documents
• Processing of wage/salary deductions
• Processing of documents confirming sickness and attending to a sick family member (PN and OČR)
• Responsibility for updating changes to employee data in the payroll system
• Continuation of training in the payroll agenda and legislation
Skills and attributes for success
• English at a minimum B1 level (for communication with clients from an international environment)
• Knowledge of the Slovak Labor Code
• Knowledge of and experience in payroll agenda (one-year cycle)
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Team player
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Completed secondary or university education with economic or financial focus
