About the Role
In this role, you'll leverage your business development expertise to nurture and grow partnerships, driving the expansion of Uber Direct in Brazil. As we scale this exciting new project, you'll work closely with top retail chains in the industry to fuel our growth.
You'll manage a portfolio of partners, negotiating and supporting high-priority partnerships that drive revenue growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, legal, compliance, and operations, to deliver the best possible service to our customers and ensure alignment with our vision of connecting e-commerce to consumers.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Clearly communicate the value of Uber Direct to Mid-Market Accounts
- Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
- Forecast and manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Conduct financial, quantitative, and qualitative analyses to guide strategic decisions across growth, revenue, marketing, and account development
- Develop expertise in logistics, same-day delivery, and "delivery as a service" to have impactful conversations with Enterprise Accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, focusing on trust and crafting successful joint business plans
- Analyze operational metrics to ensure reliability and optimize order fulfillment
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly goals (both financial and qualitative)
- Represent Uber's mission, brand, and product, acting as a problem solver for both partners and internal teams
- Identify creative opportunities for strategic partnerships to drive business objectives
- Present and report key results to partners, both internally and externally
Basic Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in operations management, key account management, sales, or business development, either at a large organization or a growing startup
- Proven track record in sales and account management, with a focus on business development and client relations
- Strong business judgment with a solid understanding of financials and strategic decision-making
- Empathetic and skilled at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to pivot quickly from strategic thinking to tactical execution
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (analytics-focused)
- A meticulous, adaptable, and collaborative team player who thrives on building businesses and prioritizing activities to drive results
- Strong negotiation skills, with a focus on retaining value in deals

- Salesforce knowledge
- Basic proficiency in SQL
