Responsibilities:
  • Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
  • Successfully initiate, design, plan, control, execute, monitor and close Ultrasound GoldSeal NPI programs for global markets.
  • Lead NPI teams consisting of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Sourcing and others to ensure that Ultrasound GoldSeal products are qualified for commercial sale, from product concept through customer satisfaction assurance.
  • Accountable to deliver NPI programs to commitments: quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects.
  • Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made.
  • Manage all aspects of NPI programs to ensure that programs meet customer CTQs (Critical to Quality) and hit tollgate milestones.
  • Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying and planning activities, and giving explanations on technical issues.
  • Communicate NPI status regularly to the Ultrasound GoldSeal Global Segment Leader, Commercial Team and relevant program stakeholders.
  • Communicates with direct team and Engineering Manager. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
  • Review, approve & provide guidance to orchestrate offering change implementation within the quoting platform, provide impact assessment & ensure synchronized offering change controls are in place in accordance with GE HealthCare Quality Metric System guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years experience within technical discipline and project management.
  • 3 years relevant project leadership experience or OMLP graduate.
  • Understands and advocates customer needs in all phases of product development and drives quality in all NPI activities.
  • Outstanding leadership skills; able to independently drive day-to-day NPI execution.
  • Must be able to produce detailed plans, be able to secure commitments from team members and resource owners and be able to quickly identify risks and mitigate them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with entire NPI cycle of GE HealthCare ultrasound products
  • Project management certification
  • Service experience including service part and service procedure strategy development
  • Experience with GE HealthCare systems including MyWorkshop, Spotfire, Smartsheet etc.
