Duties: Design, develop, and support financial applications and analytical tools supporting risk management. Discuss business requirements with stakeholders, implement agreed solutions in Java and related technologies, and report on project status and related risks. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop technical architecture and data flows to satisfy requirements. Enhance and modify logical and physical data models, and build scripts to support application configurations, while performing exposure spike analyses and variance analyses to identify key exposure drivers. Execute application performance tuning and diagnose bottlenecks, perform code reviews, and design and prototype technical solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Micro Services and Oracle Technologies. Develop and maintain monitoring tools and write system monitoring scripts, while also enforcing software development best practices and providing mentorship on domain modelling, code quality, code reviews, and testing. Assist business user queries by providing justification and resolution steps with Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Assist with project estimation, reviews, and configuration management. Fix bugs reported by quality assurance team for the software. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Architect, Consultant, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related position involving Market Risk in Banking domain. 6 of experience must include: Limit Workflow Management application; Java, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Micro services, Apache Kafka; Intellij, Eclipse, GIT (Global Information Tracker), BitBucket, SonarQube, Release Management Tool; UNIX, Autosys, Tectia; Oracle, SQL; Tomcat Server.
