How you’ll spend your day
  • Develop and communicate the strategic vision and operational plan for engaging KOLs.
  • Ensure execution and oversee development and execution of individual KOLs plans.
  • Partner closely with the Director, Marketing – KOL Strategy and Congress Planning to ensure alignment.
  • Build and maintain productive, collaborative, and compliant relationships with peers leading teams in Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Medical Affairs.
  • Work in concert with the Field Sales team on the execution of all thought leader-related initiatives and programs.
  • Build mechanisms to collect insights from the TLLs, synthesize and integrate them, and communicate to brand to inform tactics
  • Bring thought leaders closer to Teva by ensuring compliant, value-added connections across the organization.
  • Hire, develop retain and motivate TLL team and direct activities of TLLs to execute on KOL engagement strategy and commercial medical education execution in partnership with the field. This includes conducting field rides with each TLLs, measuring the overall performance and impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with Medical Leadership on engagement strategy and planning as appropriate, including support and coordination of commercial advisory boards.
  • Engage with KOLs to solicit feedback that shapes and informs brand strategy.
  • Execute IM portfolio engagement strategy with national and regional thought leaders, speakers, and medical education programming.
  • Contribute to IM Marketing strategy for conferences/congresses including sponsorships, CNS communication/messaging, and advocacy group engagement.
  • Align all interactions with thought leaders and KOLs to ensure a consistent message and experience with Teva.
  • Work in partnership with the IM Marketing portfolio leaders and field leadership to develop appropriate KPIs and metrics to support the brand marketing and executional goals.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the field, maintaining an effective two-way dialogue on KOL engagement, potential speaker identification, and up-and-coming thought leaders and experts.
  • Manage team and individual performance by celebrating successes, providing direct and honest feedback and holding team accountable to established key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the neurology and/or Psychiatry therapeutic space.
  • Manage specific budgets to achieve defined key performance metrics.
  • Analyze market data, confirm data reliability and inform team stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance and impact to implement and communicate improved actions.
  • Proactively engage partners in Legal and Compliance to ensure programs and processes are being delivered with the highest ethical standards.
Your experience and qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) and Master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • A minimum of 3 years of working with neurology and/or Psychiatry KOLs preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous people management experience required
  • Prior experience in TLL role required
  • Experience in Marketing, Market Access, or Field Sales preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Broad domain expertise gained through industry experience and strong knowledge of the neurology therapeutic area specifically
  • Strategic thinking and an ability to work in a hands-on manner to deliver on multiple priorities
  • Able to draw insights from a variety of sources, understands market and competition.
  • Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis.
  • Synthesize complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship.
  • Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI).
  • Strong project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinate projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors on time
  • Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required.
  • Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

Remote Work:

  • Preferred location will be in the east or central time zone
  • Core hours of this position requires availability from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET at a minimum
  • This role will support employees throughout the US in different time zones and will need to be available and flexible during non-core EST hours
  • Based on business needs, extended hours may be required occasionally with little to no advanced notice
  • Candidate must have a full time secure workplace that ensures confidentiality and discretion without interruption
  • Must be willing and able to appear on video for all work meetings
