Job responsibilities:
- Assist the Sponsorships team and work independently on tickets and sponsorship related tasks to deliver project related results to senior managers
- Plan the strategic use of firm ticket subscriptions for client events and entertainment in the New York, San Francisco and Chicago areas
- Manage and track all Commercial & Investment Bank client entertainment requests with central corporate ticket office; maintain relationships with venue representatives and deliver on annual firm assets
- Manage ticket allocations, attendee and reporting management and approval processing of firm ticketed assets; assist in the development and implementation of ticket strategy to support business goals
- Assist in the planning and execution of sponsorships, including, but not limited to: venue research; data maintenance and integrity; internal and external communications; invitation creation and distribution; administrative briefings, on-site staffing and support; post-event tasks, such as reviewing survey data and supporting debriefs
- Manage administrative tasks, e.g., manage, review and reconcile reports (RSVP, registration, dinner assignments, etc.); managing event supplies and shipping; premium research and ordering; and production tasks of event materials like name badges, biographies, speaker introductions, briefing memos and printing
- Work directly with vendors on the creation, negotiation, and branding of premium client giveaways
- Prepare pre-meeting agendas and materials for partners and stakeholders and keep team notes on weekly calls and briefs
- Update asset trackers, creative calendars and sponsorship/event calendars for each ticket + sponsorship property
- Manage, track, and submit all sponsorship + ticket invoices and expenses
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- BA degree with experience in events, marketing or a related field; internship experience relevant as well
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofing
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-sufficient and motivated
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high energy fast paced environment
- Good sense of time management, prioritization and ability to execute against deliverables
- Can problem solve and be proactive in escalation
- Good judgment and awareness of organizational hierarchy and respective business needs
- Willingness to be a team player and consistently interact with peers, partners, management, relationship managers and clients
- Must be able to tackle any task, trouble shoot and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success
- Proficiency with firm-wide systems or ability to quickly learn systems
- Requires some travel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Financial industry knowledge a plus but not required
- Expert in Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint a plus
