Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in building high-performance virtual data planes.
- Solid foundation in architectural design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Expertise in kernel programming, Netfilter, eBPF, XDP, and Open vSwitch.
- Experience working with Layer 3 and Layer 2 networks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver on aggressive deadlines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Rust, Go, and various scripting languages.
- Highly proficient in Git and config management systems.
- Ability to triage and debug production issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS and MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
