About the role:
The Senior Process Engineering Manager will oversee the development and management of technology groups focused on deep knowledge and expertise in focused areas that will deliver robust, scalable, high-quality manufacturing processes to divisional and operations customers. You will provide strategic input into departmental, divisional, and Boston Scientific plant network initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead teams in the achievement of organizational and functional goals; guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive practices throughout their organization
- Coach and develop highly capable technology champions and subject matter experts in their respective technology groups
- Establish goals and development needs to help guide technology groups
- Create a technology roadmap and develop systems to establish excellence in focused technology areas
- Make technology groups focused and establish prowess in technical areas
- Assist in promoting technical team capabilities and making connections with divisional partners that seek technical solutions
- Partner with divisions to provide technical solutions to product needs
- Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to create innovative and manufacturable product designs
- Drive technical projects of significant magnitude and scope that increase Boston Scientific’s portfolio in key strategic areas
- Develop detailed work plans, budgets, objectives, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; monitor & troubleshoot performance and schedule issues, support & enable team to achieve objectives
- Work within Boston Scientific business cycles to establish projects and funding for technology groups
- Make decisions regarding technology landscape and match them up to company needs
- Recruit, coach, develop organizational talent
- May be responsible for providing direction and/or guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments; may supervise non-exempt employees

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and 8+ years related work experience; or Master’s degree in Engineering discipline and 5+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of experience in leading and developing a technical engineering group
Preferred qualifications:
- Team oriented approach to projects that drives collaboration & execution in technology areas
- Experience in developing and leading technology focused work groups
- Track record of developing strong partnerships with multiple customers simultaneously
- Demonstrated competency in leading teams in the development of complex technical solutions from concept to commercialization
- Experience working with divisional partners and having a track record of success with them
- Track record of developing partnerships outside of Boston Scientific to gain knowledge and improve the capabilities of a technology group
- Working knowledge of Boston Scientific therapies, products, and processes
- Experience working in manufacturing, identifying opportunities, and delivering on commitments
- Vision to see what technologies are going to be needed in the future and ability to get them started with little oversight or guidance
- Effective in building and leading high-performance teams
Maximum Salary: $ 232000
