ABOUT YOU

As a Senior Manager in EY Data and Analytics team, you will deliver value-added services to our clients and you are required to be specialized in some or all of the following areas:

  • Lead and manage all Analytics related solutions to Ernst & Young clients in the APAC region.
  • Develop, build and manage business pipeline and client relationships.
  • Contributing your expertise to strategy and roadmaps
  • Communicate effectively with the EY Partners, the team and the client regarding the progress of the project and be a role model to the team members in exhibiting the Ernst & Young best practices.

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with client senior management to translate their business strategy and requirements into data and analytics solutions and services
  • Develop strategic vision for data and analytics in client context
  • Collaborate internally with solution architects and other subject matter experts to develop implementation roadmaps and architecture blueprints for the enterprise
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and champion our differentiated Data and Analytics story
  • Collaborate internally with other competencies and service lines and externally with alliance partners to develop holistic solutions to address client needs.
  • Perform detailed analysis of client requirements and technical environments and develop high level solution design
  • Overall responsibility for developing commercial proposals for client (as a response to RFPs or proactive proposals) to address specific client needs
  • Assess market and client demands, with that to anticipate, lead and steer relevant internal asset and accelerator development initiatives

PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
  • Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining staff
  • Contribute, guide and develop technical and functional skills of staff

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree and above in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related fields.
  • 10 – 12 years of experience in data and analytics projects (data and analytics strategy, data warehouse, data analytics, business intelligence and machine learning).
  • 6 – 8 years of consulting experience working with third-party clients in a pre-sales, sales role
  • Experience in at least one of the industry or domain – Government and Public Services, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Products
  • Experience developing and growing C-level relationships.
  • Understanding of Data Analytics and of the business challenges in adopting Data Analytics solutions.

Skills

  • Able to explain complex analytics methodologies / technologies, architectural principles and concepts to a non-technical business audience
  • Clearly articulate pros and cons of architecture options and compare tools, technologies and platforms
  • Transforming business needs into technical solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills with an ability to deliver a polished and professional business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels.
  • Track record of public speaking in conferences, seminars, panels etc. would be an advantage
  • Certifications in Data Analytics tools and environment (big data technologies, cloud certifications, data integration, data management, or visualisation tools) would be an advantage.
