Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize existing processes, and to ensure that production goals are met. Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields or product quality issues. Interfaces with Quality and Research and Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing basic daily activities and/or continuous improvement projects such as equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis and non-conforming product evaluation.
  • Completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or process, for current programs, next generation programs and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company. Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.
  • Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of problems which require novel and new innovative approaches or a major breakthrough in technology.
  • Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques. Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion.
  • Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks. Participate in project teams to complete goals and objectives for the projects.
  • Interacts cross functionally and with internal and external customers.

Management Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in engineering. Mechanical or Electrical Engineer Preferred
  • 0-1 years of related experience
  • Coop or Internship previous experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience on equipment improvement, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Exposure and participating as team member of problem solving & process improvement projects which require novel and new innovative approaches or a breakthrough in technology
  • Preferred: 3D CAD, PLC, Vision System tools and prototyping experience
  • Fully Bilingual

Maximum Salary: $ 86500

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
