Position of TrustThis role is a Position of Trust. Responsibilities
- Build performance models of hardware components and systems at various levels of abstraction and validate their functionality and performance against actual implementations
- Create logging, tracing, and debugging facilities within the models to enable performance and functional debugging
- Utilize developed models to predict and project the performance of future-generation hardware systems, specifically AI accelerators
- Create synthetic and random test cases and stimuli to stress-test and exercise various functionalities and features of the modeled architectures
- Construct appropriate test and regression infrastructure for continuous testing and evaluation of developed models and systems
- Create clear and meticulous documentation of the models and infrastructures, as well as user guides that describe the best practices and usage models
- Serve as the main driver and point of contact for all technical aspects regarding performance modeling and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the capability to work smoothly with a diverse set of cross-functional teams and individuals
Minimum Qualifications
- MSc computer science or electrical engineering or related field , with 8+ years of experience
- 6+ years of experience modern programming and modeling languages, such as Python, C++, the Standard Template Library, SystemC, and TLM2.0
- Prior experience with modeling complex hardware components (IPs) and systems (SoCs)
- Experience in debugging, instrumenting, profiling, and optimizing large-scale software projects and codebases
- Familiarity with version control software, continuousintegration/continuousdevelopment, and regression systems
Preferred Qualifications.
- Understanding of AI workloads and accelerator systems is a bonus
