Key Account Manager - Sweden

As a Key Account Manager in Sweden, the position is Stockholm based. You will have the full responsibility working with a specific category with our strategic account Intersport X-Nordic. You will be expected to be mobile and visit the Nordic markets and Intersport HQ:s. You will report to your Line Manager based in our Nordic HQ in Solna, Sweden. You will travel to sell in meetings in all markets and seasonal assortment handovers in Manchester minimum twice a year. Twice a year we travel to Herzogenaurach for Intersport assortment handovers.

You will be one of 7 Nordic Team members in the Nordic Intersport KAM team.

What you’ll do:

As a Key Account Manager at adidas, you will have the full responsibility working with a specific category. We are looking for an experienced KAM with a strategic mindset and ability to build strong long-term sustainable partnerships internally as well as externally with the account. Strong digital/omni knowledge and experience is preferred as you will be building both channels for adidas & Intersport. You will support to activate brand strategies & manage assigned categories/product segment together with the marketing team, driving and increasing brand visibility and sell out both in store and online. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and expanding services for the accounts to maximize revenue and profitability. You are responsible to track key performance metrics and KPIs for accounts, regularly reviewing progress against targets and implementing actions as needed. We see that you are a skilled negotiator who can find win-win solutions that meet the needs of both the client and adidas.

Skills you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of retail experience in sales/key account management/Sporting goods knowledge.
  • Fluent in Swedish or Norwegian & English
  • Strategic thinking and planning: Ability to build and execute short-, mid-, and long-term Strategic Account Plans. Grow orderbook build and maximize Sell Out.
  • Commercial metrics/data skills: Proficiency in sales, margin, inventory management & KPI tracking.
  • Systems & Software: Experience with SAP, Sales Tools, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office.
