Description
You will work closely with a broad cross-section of Apple hardware and software engineering teams, as well as the design and marketing teams to enhance and develop new features across the Apple ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for rapidly prototyping new ideas, as well as thoroughly investigating those ideas to understand their complications and limitations. You will need to define data collection requirements and build a simulation pipeline to regularly validate algorithm performance. You’ll also be responsible for implementing efficient and maintainable code on Apple devices, so that millions of users around the world will get to experience the features you’ve built.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years experience in inertial sensing, time series analysis, signal processing, system identification, and Matlab or Python
  • 3 years experience in statistical inference, and machine learning, Spark, and PyTorch
  • 3 years experience with C++ or ObjC Programming
Preferred Qualifications
  • Distributed sensing, consensus algorithms, and anomaly detection
  • Environmental sensing, IoT Systems, seismology
  • Problem Solving
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
