Supply Chain Sourcing Lead Analyst, VP

As a Global Procurementwithin Citi’s IT Procurement & Risk function, you will become a member of a high-performing team that identifies and leads complex, cross-functional strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives supportingCiti’s Enterprise Operations & Technology, Functions Technology Organization.

is an important enabler of Citi's strategy, supporting the needs of Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, and other regulatory requirements. Functions Technology delivers world-class technology solutions for Citi's Global Functions through the use of common data, analytics and platforms to enable Citi to meet regulatory commitments, mitigate risk and operate in a cost-effective manner with highly effective controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large book of work of sourcing projects and contracts. This includes working with the business stakeholders, internal colleagues, and external suppliers to negotiate new or renew agreements including Master Agreements, Work Orders, amendments, etc.

  • Negotiate and draft / redline contract terms and conditions including but not limited to fees, payment terms, document business requirements, define deliverables and acceptance criteria, service levels while optimizing overall value including financial outcome and mitigate risk.

  • Assist cross-functional teams in developing and executing sourcing and supplier management strategies

  • Create, manage and/or support Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and eAuction events.

  • Analyze supplier proposals and develop reports or PowerPoint presentations illustrating saves or increases in expenses. Identify baseline spend analysis.

  • Establish strong relationships with internal business stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned suppliers and / or product and service categories.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding for Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.

  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Working with numerous business stakeholders, legal, third-party risk management subject matter experts and external suppliers.

  • Acts as SME to business stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with large cross functional groups across multiple regions. Excellent intercultural communication skills and strong passion for delivery for internal Businesses. Execution orientated and ability to navigate through process complexity to achieve results. Financial Services industry experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success in relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion. Ability to understand internal Business and Technology Strategy and provide consult on Sourcing Strategy that leans into the Business and Technology strategies.

  • Ability to build strong partnership with Legal is essential.

  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, agile environment with changing requirements.

  • Skilled in structuring agreements to optimize value and mitigate risk.

  • Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, P2P)

  • Experience with reporting and analytics

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Takes initiative and has the ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives

  • High integrity and ethics.

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master's degree preferred
