Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish strong relationships with internal business / IT functional stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned projects, suppliers and/or spend categories.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.
Develop and manage RFP processes to support business, category and project strategies
Perform financial analysis including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisons to support supplier selection and negotiation processes
Develop, lead and/or manage a portfolio of initiatives across the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process
Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies for assigned projects
Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and business function, to optimize overall value including financial outcomes, service levels and risk mitigation
Manage supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost.
Lead and/or participate in global category forums maintaining high level sourcing processes and team
Develop and/or implement market analyses/benchmarking processes and leverage key insights to inform and support the category strategy development process
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
Experience in sourcing or procurement in a large, multi-national organization
Experience in leading strategic sourcing programs
Experience in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting
Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFx)
Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
