As a Summer Fellow in our ABP Fellowship program, you will be provided with an introduction to financial services and the firm. You will be exposed to our senior leaders and gain insight into how your diverse backgrounds and perspectives as financial services professionals might positively impact the future of people’s lives, the firm and our industry.

This opportunity will expose students to careers in financial services and include hands-on experience, mentorship, and a project-based curriculum, designed to help build a pathway to future employment opportunities. The ABP Fellowship Program is committed to providing early exposure and professional development opportunities to participants. Upon successful completion of the Fellowship Program, you will be considered for a 2026 Summer Internship offer. Successful completion of the internship is a significant step towards securing full-time employment with the firm.

Job responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in learning opportunities to gain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's businesses, clients and customers.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to enhance your professional development skills, including attending training sessions, and engaging with mentors.
  • Prepare and present a curriculum-based project to an audience of senior stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Sophomore standing (expected graduation date of December 2026 through Summer 2027)
  • Attends college/university in the U.S. (all majors considered) in good standing
  • Demonstrates a significant commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through, for example, campus activities community service work, and/or related leadership activity
  • Possess a strong interest in developing professional skills for future opportunities in financial services

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

The key components of our disciplines include:

  • Analytics: Gather, analyze, and present key metrics and data, provide critical reports and information for decision making for senior management. Understand business performance and how those ties into metrics, exposure to and participate in operating plan process, link metrics to business performance, and present critical details.
  • Project Management: Participate in various stages of a project life cycle, create, and maintain plans, process maps, identify/create key metrics reporting to monitor success of projects. Work with teams across the firm to communicate business needs and help drive the direction of a project throughout its life cycle.
  • Process Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities by assessing risks, costs, and benefits of alternatives and engage business stakeholders. Participate in phases of a key business project or initiative, create process flows/maps, build/navigate project plans, data collection and analysis, deck preparation .
