In this role you will work on various duties and initiatives performed by the BAO Business Analysis team enable us, as a First Line of Defense function for the Consumer Bank. You will drive and participate in business analysis activities to gather requirements and translate business requirements into technical specifications that will be used to design or implement required reports and/or dashboards

Job responsibilities:

• Strategize and solution ways to convert legacy reports to Tableau or other BI solutions
• Develop and maintain BI reports supporting various BAO channels
• Manage the migration of tools and applications to modern technology platforms (e.g. Alteryx, Python)
• Accountable for delivering timely and accurate information
• Independently communicate with key stakeholders, understand their demand, manage SLAs and avoid surprises
• Be a subject matter expert within the BAO space while developing a robust understanding of data environment, operations process and business knowledge
• Develop robust documentation and adhere to the existing controls in place
• Transition developed reports and dashboards to the business report owners and subject matter experts
• Own, Identify, and implement best practices to improve efficiencies in how we operate
• Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
• Drive consistency and standardization within the team
• Mentor and support other developers within the team

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

• 3+ years of experience in data and/or reporting function
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, statistics, economics or information management
• Strong technical background including hands-on experience with programs like Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL
• Knowledge of standard data warehousing structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills: ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses, develop actionable recommendations and present analyses, conclusions and recommendations in a concise and cogent manner
• Analytical skills: The candidate must be highly analytical, with demonstrable experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources and developing creative solutions
• Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set expectations, manage to timelines and deliver results
